Countries with higher level of skills fare better to cope with the challenges of emerging economies in the present day world. In any country, youth is primarily the focus for any program for skill development. Our country is better placed in this regard. We have a vast majority of population in the productive age group. This provides a great opportunity to India. It also poses a great challenge. Benefits will flow to our economy only if our population, particularly the youth, is healthy, educated and properly skilled. India with its an unrivalled youth demographic, is definitely poised for a big boost in terms of socio-economic development.


We have 605 million people below the age of 25. They can act as agents of change, by being empowered with various employable skills which will enable them to make impact not only on their lives but also on the lives of other individuals. PMKVY 2.0 Approved for another four years (2016-2020) to benefit 10 million youth Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE). The objective of this Skill Certification Scheme is to enable a large number of Indian youth to take up industry-relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood.
In this project we established 3 PMKVY centres for which 32 batches were conducted & 950 students were trained in retail & telecom sector.



Skill Development Training Programs (NSKFDC)


With the growing demand of the skill enhancement in every field of work all over the world, India is never a step backward to impart training to every sector of the society. Keeping this trend in view, Development Advocacy & Research trust (DART) has spread its hand to work for the betterment of underprivileged youth and women in the best possible way. DART is an Trust, which is dedicatedly working to enhance the skill of every underprivileged youth and women from the lower strata. We provide one platform to every individual who is striving to mark their presence in the society with their working potential. We ensure our success by conducting different vocational training programmes across the country. Upon catering the vulnerable section of the society, our organization maximizes the potential of the youth and women by affecting their lives in a clean, hygiene and secure environment.


Our skill delivery process begins with the identification of jobs and ends with the placement of trained youth in various industries. We aim to ensure that every youth leaves with a qualification that is recognized and is valued by the employers. Our training will ultimately provide them with the skills necessary to succeed at work from the day one.

DART aims to promote and provide vocational training to school leavers, existing workers, etc. We improve their employability by optimally utilizing the infrastructure available in Govt.; Private institutions and the Industry. We also build capacity in the area of development of competency standards, course curricula, learning material and assessment standards in the country.

DART also bridges skills gaps across service sectors and supplements the nation's economic growth rate flawlessly. We believe in providing a sustainable skill delivery system that supports the inclusive economic growth, agenda of the nation and leverages the advantage of India’s demographic dividend. DART works through a unique model wherein we establish strategic partnerships with the various stakeholders from Industry, Training bodies, and Non241 government Organizations, States and Central government and leverage our relationship to provide skill training and employability.

DART has conducted the following programmes in Skill Development for Underprivileged section of our Society like : Youths at any place need special boost to build their future. we are conducting Skill development program for Safai Karamcharis, Scavengers and their dependants with the help of National Safai Karamcharis Finance & Development Corporation (NSKFDC) and Skill training program to Other Backward caste candidates with the help of National Backward Classes finance And Development Corporation.

We are Conducted NSKFDC Skill Development Training programs in Following States: 21

i. Uttar Pradesh: DART facilitating NSKFDC Skill training program in Rampur, Agra & Mainpuri district to provide livelihood training to under privileged community of Safai Karamcharis, Scavengers and their dependants. DART facilitating skill development training of Solar Panel Installation Technician and Field Technician Computing and Peripherals.

Delhi: DART facilitating NSKFDC Skill training program in North west Delhi to provide livelihood training to under privileged community of Safai Karamcharis, Scavengers and their dependants. DART facilitating skill development training of Solar Panel Installation Technician and Field Technician Computing and Peripherals (FTCP).

ii. Maharashtra: We had conducted training of the DTH Set Top Box Installation and service technician at Nagpur. Provide livelihood training to under privileged community Other Backward caste candidates with the help of National Backward Classes finance And Development Corporation, This course we taught information of DTH Technology, Knowledge of installation and activation of DTH Set Top Box.




Pradhan MantriGramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan’(PMGDISHA)


The Government has launched the Digital India Programme with an ambitious vision to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. The Programme envisages linking citizens to various e-governance initiatives, involving them in decision making for strengthening public participation and thus enhancing governance accountability. The full potential of Digital India Programme can only be realised if every citizen, regardless of location and social background, is provided with opportunities as well as capabilities to access and leverage digital services/technologies. The universal digital literacy across the country including rural India is an essential element for success of these initiatives.


Digital literacy is a key component of the Government's vision of building an empowered society as envisaged under "Digital India initiative". Spinoff effects of digital literacy especially in the context of rural India would address a number of socio-economic issues. 'Digital Literacy' would bring the benefits of ICT to daily lives of rural population especially in the areas of Healthcare, Livelihood generation and Education. Furthermore, as the thrust of the government is on promoting cashless transactions through mobile phones, the course content would also have emphasis on use of Digital Financial Tools for Electronic Payment System. In this project we established 45 PMG Disha centres in Uttar Pradesh and 770 students were trained in 'Digital Literacy'.





Sikho Aur Kamao (Skill Training Program)


The scheme aims at upgrading the skills of minority youth in various modern/traditional skills depending upon their qualification, present economic trends and market potential, which can earn them suitable employment or make them suitably skilled to go for self- employment.


Sikho Aur Kamao Scheme Objective


* To bring down unemployment rate of minonties duting 14th Finance Commission.
* To conserve and update modern and traditional skills of minorities and establish their linkages with JOB market.
* To improve employability of existing workers, school dropouts etc. and ensure their placement.
* To generate means of better livelihood for marginalized minorities and bring them in the mainstream.
* To enable minorities to avail opportunities in the growing market.
* To develop potential human resource for the country. In this project we established 2 Shikho Aur Kamao centers for which 407 students are getting skill development training in Health & Apparel Sector.


BSDM Skill Development Program


Development Advocacy & Research Trust is Leading Partner of BSDM the vision of this program is increasing the capacity & capability of the system to deliver quality skill training and professional knowledge to the youth to enhance their employability and bridge the skill deficit with a view to meet burgeoning market demand for skilled manpower.

Objectives

* To facilitate generation of adequate employment opportunities through a policy frame work.

* To encourage and facilitate skill training for youth of Bihar.


* To monitor generation of employment in different sectors.

* To facilitate launching of training programmes for both uneducated and educated unemployed persons for up-gradation of their skills.

* To formulate area and trade specific strategies for maximizing employment opportunities on a sustainable basis in the State supported by private sector.

* To facilitate a coordinated approach in achieving the above objectives for maximizing the benefits over time and space and in reaching out the most needy sections of the population.

We conducted training of the Solar panel installation technician and handicraft at Bihar. Provided livelihood training to under privileged community candidates with the support of Bihar skill development mission, this course we taught information of Solar panel installation, Knowledge of installation and activation of Solar panel installation and handicraft work.


UPSDM Skill Development Program

A National Skill Development Policy was launched in 2009 with the aim of skilling 500 million persons by 2022. Under the National Plan, the State of Uttar Pradesh aims to skill over 4 million youth by the end of the 12th Five Year Plan. In order to achieve this target and provide employable skills to the youth of the State, the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) has been instituted. Based on the learnings and experiences of other states, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has developed a unique structure for UPSDM. UPSDM acts as an integrated mission which combines the efforts of various State Departments in achieving the skill development targets for the State. UPSDM is the implementing agency for skill development targeted at enhancing employability in Uttar Pradesh, subsuming the targets of various State Departments such as Rural Development, Urban Development, Labour, Minority Welfare, Social Welfare, etc. Established in 2013; mandated to coordinate all skill development initiatives, leveraging on State Skill Development Policy, UPSDM empanelled Private Training Partners in addition to Govt. Training Partners for conducting skill development trainings.




* To facilitate launching of training programmes for both uneducated and educated unemployed persons for up-gradation of their skills.

* Enable and mobilize Indian youth to take up industry-relevant quality skill training to become more employable.

* Increase the capability and productivity of the existing workforce and align skill training with the actual requirements of the industry.

* Promote standardization of the certification process and implement it on a larger level for creating a registry of skills.

* Providing monitory awards for the trained candidates for increasing the employability and productive of the youth of Uttar Pradesh.

* DART facilitating UPSDM Skill training program in a Aligarh, Bareilly, Jaunpur, Lakhimpur Khiri, Barabanki to provide livelihood training to under privileged and needy youth of uttar pardesh.
